Oldies
I never scrapped this blurry photo of Emma and Daddy, she could eat and breathe on her own so we were taking her home! I was so nervous! That pretty lace trim is from May Arts.
I could be wrong...but this last photo, I hope is a fort in Malaga, Spain, I loved this little sea port town. I found a beach covered in sea glass, I have never seen anything like it before.
Had fun layering the stickers on here, can you tell I was trying to use them all up? I have been trying to finish off half used items etc. I store my papers by manufacturer in the cropper hopper envelopes. I have been working my way through my October Afternoon and Sassafras envelopes. Next up? Maybe My Mind's Eye or Cosmo Cricket and I really need to stop hoarding the Jenni Bowlin, gotta use it!

ouch
I think we all know what happened to poor lil' Fifi here.
Happened while Emma was in school. Hopefully she will never notice her absence.
This is am older photo of Emma and I. She was 4 months old and getting quite chubby, sure doesn't look like the eight week premature baby that she was.

I used a few Martha Stewart punches for the butterfly masks and a great mist from Studio Calico, it is the white and it gives you fantastic coverage.
I have been scrapping through my collection of October Afternoon.

NEW
we had the chance to meet it. After putting him away, he walked over to an echidna and placed it right in front of Emma...we both had the chance to "pet" it. Lily decided to have nothing to do with it.
Have a wonderful week!

I used our Christmas card photo and turned it into a tree ornament. I try to do this every year. The epoxies made perfect little ornaments with the October Afternoon paper.

For Sale
First of the month! New kits from Freehand Scraps are ready! Hula Hoop, cute kit name, is my favorite. Packed with all kinds of embellishments and the collection of papers is perfect. I made 4 lay outs so far, one of those is a 2 pager...I still have a lot of paper left. More fun to have!
Oh Miss Lily... she escaped as I was changing her and of course I had to grab the camera. These pics are from last summer. I used my Slice to cut the circles and after adhering them, I stitched around them with floss. I sprayed the large Pink Paislee alphas with Hydrangea Maya Mist to make them blue and I used the Jenni Bowlin banners to make the sun rays. This kit has 3 alphas this month!!!

For Mother's Day, mu husband loaded us all in to the car and he asked me and the girls to pick out flowers for him to plant. It was a very sweet gesture. From my supplies I stamped Pink Paislee butterflies and cut them out. I also trimmed out the large damask from an October Afternoon paper.
The bright blue ribbon trim is actually a white trim that comes in this kit, I put mine in a baggy and sprayed it with Maya Mist and added a few drops of water. I set it on my table fan to dry.
Okay, I am off to the gym...first time in years! I am excited about changing my life and my body! Hopefully things go well with the childcare!

Operation Write Home!
Hey there blog hoppers! Thanks for coming by today, thought I would start off with how I found out about Operation Write Home. Last month, OWH was a part of the blog challenge over at Elle's Studio. I participated and was so excited to send off my cards to soldiers who would put them to good use.
What a truly fabulous organization, I am already working on my next batch to send off.
My dad is retired Air Force and my brother was in the Navy, for me Memorial Day is both a day of remembrance and also a day that reminds me to give thanks to the brave men and women that are serving and their families that sacrifice so much.
Like it says in the magazine blurb, I made this for Angie and her husband. Of course when I found out it was going to be published, I had to ask for it back!
Okay, up next in the this mega blog hop is Brenda!
Have a fabulous holiday weekend and have fun on the OWH HOP!

All in a Row
Elle's Studio has announced their Design Team call! My work there is coming to an end in June and they need a new team of talented scrapbookers. If you are thinking about it, let me just say that it has been a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed working with Elle, the team and the fabulous products.

I Love My Mom!
This is a Kaisercraft wood album and I used October Afternoon papers. The stamps are my favorite from Pink Persimmon, the Small Banner Set (only $13!!) and I also used the Soda Pop Alpha stamps.
You can see the other lovely mini albums made by the Pink Persimmon DT by clicking HERE and scrolling through the whole week!
I used the Journaling Ticket stamp ($3.50!) here, I stamped two times in a row and cut them out together.
For the chippy paint, I used a technique that I learned from Katie Watson, I painted with acrylic paint and in between coats I used rubber cement to resist the paint. When it is dry, you rub off the rubber cement. I learned that this technique is time consuming!
I like the simpler look of this mini, the preschool one too. Both have less embellishments than I have made in the past and I love that!
Have a wonderful Mother's Day Friends!
