Let me first say that this sweet little chipboard girl is one of my favorite embellishments ever, she is just too cute! This is my latest project for Purple Cows, I used my trusty 1040 2 in 1 paper trimmer. I love that paper cutter, I use the guillotine every single day and my cuts are straight as can be.
Cosmo Cricket just happens to be one of Purple Cow's fabulous product partners and the Material Girl line worked perfectly with my school theme. Originally, this chipboard girl was holding a needle and thread, I snipped them off and gave her this sweet Jenni Bowlin sticker banner instead. To make mt title stand out a bit, I applied 2 coats of glossy accents to the American Crafts fabric thickers.
Now I am aware that October Afternoon has a wonderful flashcard album that goes along with their cute school line, but that is not what I had in my stash. This flashcard album is from the Farm Fresh line and I think it works out ok.
Emma adores this mini, she loves any album about herself.
For each of our Purple Cows projects, we also post directions on how to make it. The directions for this album are HERE.
