I think that I have mentioned before that I am not the biggest fan of coloring in images. I usually avoided stamps that involved coloring. Not any more. Unfortunately, I am a fan of the pricey Copic Markers. They really are fun (with the right kind of paper). I like to stamp a few images and curl up on the couch with my jar of markers and get to it. I learned some techniques after searching the internet for video tutorials. There are hundreds. Emma will sit and watch them with me, she likes the ones with little girl stamps. But, I won't let her touch the precious Copics yet, no way Jose.
I loved coloring in this stamped image from Pink Persimmon. It is from the very very popular "Little Red Wagon" set. It is one of the cutest vintage style stamps and another reason why I love Pink Persimmon. I also used a Vintage Flashcard, Vintage Journal Cut out and a Christmas Journal tag from Elle's Studio.
This is a photo of Em on her first day of preschool last year. Can't believe how quickly time passes. Can you?

I have heard people rave about Copic markers, but they are so pricey...I've stayed away from them. I'm afraid that I'll spend the money and find out I don't know what I'm doing and then have wasted the money. Sounds like you might have been the same way, but now think they are worth it. Maybe, I'll rethink my position.
You did a great job on that little girl.
These are just adorable! I still have not used Copics...hear so much great stuff about them though!
I too didn't like the thought of colouring images. But I have seen so many beautiful cards and pages done this way. Maybe, just maybe.
this is adorable! love the copic action on this!
Oh, my stars! Glad to know I am not the only that is not a huge fan of coloring images! LOL I made my first card with copics last week! I am in love with the markers, but they are so expensive. Copic markers are like cardstock! LOL I am slowly building my stash! Love what you did with them!!
