Elle's Studio March Gallery

On the 20th of each month, Elle's Studio reveals the teams' galleries. I am always excited to see what everyone has made...1)I love Elle's Studio products 2) I really admire the scrappers on this team they are talented and creative (they use tags in ways that I would have never thought of).

Couple of pics of Emma last summer, she had on this matching headband for like a minute so I thought I would snap a few shots of her. I used the Vintage Flashcards Birthday set, I love love those flashcards and I can't wait to take some more warm weather pics and use the summer themed flashcards.

Last year I went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market and yes it is wonderful if you love vintage junque. My problem is that my house is stuffed. It's done even with very frequent trips to the Goodwill to donate our unused items, my house is still full. Sure, I don't have vignettes on my side tables, in fact they are usually empty. My darling 2 year old Lily would quickly have her chubby little fist around my cake stand~antique vase~silver toast rack~you name it and she will not only rearrange it, but I may never see it again. So I do need to buy smartly. Alas this old drawer. Don't tell my husband that I paid 5 bucks for it. I told him that I found it. Not a total lie. I found it at the Rose Bowl Flea Market and then I paid $5. She wanted $10 for it, but I have to barter at a flea market, right?

Of course I had to doll it up a little. I used one of the pretty County Fair tags and I covered one of Kim Hesson's darling wood birds with some pretty Lily Bee paper. You should know that Lily has gotten her hands on this and the the letter e is now officially missing. Good thing you get a bunch with these Basic Grey chip alphas. I love this old drawer. It's on my nightstand and it can hold a ton magazines. It is also housing my latest reads from the library. I have no idea what the title of the book on top is...and it is the one that I am reading!

My sweet friend Lexi recently won a gigantic prize from Crate Paper and being the dear that she is and she has 2 boys, she sent some of the adorable "Paper Doll" my way. It is the perfect paper for the scrapper of 2 little girls. Emma loved all of the embellishments. I will have to make her something special from this line.

These photos were taken on her second birthday. We had her party at an indoor playground and she went to right to bed when we returned home. She woke up to a huge stack of gifts waiting to be opened and played with. I love watching my girls play with dolls, could anything be sweeter?

I hope that you will check out the rest of the gallery. It's colorful, fun and full of inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend.
xo Samantha
