Famous! Nope.

I'm gonna be on national tv tonight...
well, sort of. Purple Cows is going big, HSN is selling the fabulous trimmers from Purple Cows and they are being presented today! I was asked to make a Valentines lay out and to use many of the decorative click blades and this 8.5x11 is what I sent in. So I will be glued to the tv tonight, waiting for my .0001 seconds of fame(in my own head). January 12th at 12:00am EST (9pm on the 11th Pacific Time) and 7pm EST (4pm Pacific Time).

I also used a vintage tag and flashcard from Elle's Studio- by the way I believe the lovely Valentine's line is being revealed today!

This photo was taken moments after my husband proposed to me. We were standing on the Golden Gate bridge with a couple that we were visiting in San Francisco and spent the day checking out all of the beautiful sights around the bay. I really had no idea that it was coming, in fact if you had asked me that day when he would ask for my hand, I would have said "we'll probably get engaged in about another year or so." Boy was I off. So there we were standing on the bridge and I was snapping away with my camera and a big boat was sailing just behind my boyfriend...I thought it would be lovely to take a photo of him with the boat and bridge behind him...if you have ever walked on the bridge, you know that there is a ton of foot traffic and cars that are quite close are constantly roaring by, so setting up my shot wasn't easy and he was being so fidgety. And then he said "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" and I said something like "yeah me too, stand still" and he said "will you marry me" and I was thinking ???why is he talking like this while I am trying to get this good picture? I guess a moment had passed, our friends took the camera from me and it wasn't until he pulled a ring out of his pocket that I really understood what was going on. Now, he tells the story like I am some flighty girl that wasn't paying attention....but umm he wasn't down on one knee, so how is a girl to know these things?

I finally tried making these little paper rosettes and I love them! I can't believe I waited this long to try them!

This lay out of Emma when she was 2 is based on a sketch by Patty Lennon from Creative Imaginations. This is some old paper from CI and I love love love it. I adore the matching alphas. I outlined them with a fine pen and added crystal glitter. I think these lullaby foam thickers are fabulous. Plan to see them around a lot. I bought a bunch.

This is the layout I made for the Pebbles Inc. blog post that I wrote last week ~what? did you say that you missed it? Click HERE to check it out!
