Hers

Emma had a chance to make her own sweet little version of Kim Hesson's Gingerbread house. I let her choose from the same line of papers that I used (Jolly by Golly-Cosmo Cricket), I wanted the two houses to compliment each other. She painted the house, roof, door and windows with white craft paint and applied all the glue needed. I held things in place for as she glued and I used a craft knife to cut the paper away.
Of course Emma insisted on pink glitter and she arranged the placement of the windows, door, and bow. I helped with the glitter glue for the pink and she did all the gluing for the mica roof . We both love how it turned out, I would love for this to become a tradition for us. Maybe Kim will come out with a different shaped house next year and we could turn this twosome into a villiage. Kim makes adorable wood cut shapes and sells them in her Etsy shop.

Great News, the deadline for the Purple Cows customer contest has been extended! You have until midnight, Jan, 17, 2009. So beg, borrow or buy a Purple Cows trimmer and make a layout or project for the contest. The prize is crazy big!!
