Emma had a chance to make her own sweet little version of Kim Hesson's Gingerbread house. I let her choose from the same line of papers that I used (Jolly by Golly-Cosmo Cricket), I wanted the two houses to compliment each other. She painted the house, roof, door and windows with white craft paint and applied all the glue needed. I held things in place for as she glued and I used a craft knife to cut the paper away.

Of course Emma insisted on pink glitter and she arranged the placement of the windows, door, and bow. I helped with the glitter glue for the pink and she did all the gluing for the mica roof . We both love how it turned out, I would love for this to become a tradition for us. Maybe Kim will come out with a different shaped house next year and we could turn this twosome into a villiage. Kim makes adorable wood cut shapes and sells them in her Etsy shop.
