A Banner of Thanks and A Sweet Little Sign

I am feeling much better now after only 6 pills! Oh the power of an antibiotic, I love em. The hazy gray fog that I have been in for 2 weeks has been lifted and I am in the mood to craft again! It is 8:30 PM and I am still awake and I will stay awake and watch The Office. I have been falling asleep by 7 PM most other nights.
Last May I met a talented woman selling the most amazing little wood cut outs that she designs and cuts herself. As I shopped her wares, we talked about me possibly creating and designing with her shapes. Well that day has come! Kim Hesson will be selling the wooden shapes in her Etsy shoppe! And I am one of the lucky girls that gets to play with her designs. Jenny Morgan and Melissa Phillips are also working with Kim and creating beautiful projects. I am honored to be a part of this talented team.
The wood she cuts is super smooth, light and very easy to work with, as easy as chipboard. For the banner I used Jenni Bowlin paper that I was hoarding, vintage milk caps (which will also be available in Kim's store!), Prima velvet leaves, Maya Road mini chipboard letters, Martha Stewart glitter, Ranger Sepia ink and a ton of stamps.

I loved making this Autumn sign. Kim has different background shapes that are just right for home decor signs...I must get more for Christmas. I used more Maya Road alphas, Collage Press papers, and the lovely Martha Stewart crystal glitter. Since the base is wooden, this sign is made to last. The sweet pumpkin shape is also from Kim. I layered a Maya Road mini swirl under the pumpkin.
