Freehand Scraps May, Cherry Blossom~ Part One

Umm, errrrr, I made a bunch of stuff with May's kit from Freehand Scraps. Thought I would start showing you today, rather than show it all in one day. These are the cards I made and tomorrow I will post the lay outs, I think I made 4 pages. In other words, there are plenty of goodies in this month's kit and you could get a lot done! This kit goes on sale tomorrow...National Scrapbook Day...go ahead, you deserve it...after all it is a "holiday". No really it is an official day...right?
The card above is a mix of American Crafts, Crate Paper, Fancy Pants and Bazzill papers...and I think they belong together.

Oh, I like how this one turned out. We have a friend, she has known my husband and his family since they went to kindergarten together, after a mastectomy this month, she is cancer free and I am sending this to her.

For the next one, I used the I Top tool to make the fabric covered brad, the fabric is included in this kit, and I also used it as the scalloped edge here. I did run a bead of glue along the scalloped edge to prevent fraying.

I am very found of the the American Crafts Flair from the Dear Lizzy line. I admit I never cared for the Flair before, but the images from the Dear Lizzy are irresistible to me and I love the high shine and playfulness of them...I have converted!

Hallmark Here

I am sooooooo stocked up on cards, now I really have no excuse for not sending cards to friends.
The pink ruffle around the cupcake is crepe.

The top two were made with the Unity Kit for August and the last card was made from Eco Chic. I was lucky to have won that set a few weeks ago, thank you Unity!!

All paper is by A Muse.
