~Make it Merry, Adornit Blog Party~

Thanks for hopping over to my blog! My name is Samantha Sibbet and just like you, I love pretty paper. This is my very first Adornit blog party and I can't wait to check out all the "merry" crafts on everyone's blogs. I have a couple of projects to share with you, first up is an ornament that I made with chipboard and the ellison die cutter at my lss and some fun My Mind's Eye. The snowflake is from Bazzill-super easy and makes a nice tag for a gift or a little something for a friendly neighbor.

I also want to share this little album that I made with Maya Road kraft envelopes and my favorite Bo Bunny papers. Each of the pages is also an envelope to hold my family's "Christmas Wishes."
I bound the album together with my handy Bind it All. I used rub ons for the title and the snowflakes are Maya Road topped with my fave glitter, Martha Stewart "White Silver".

Emma sat down and sketched her wishes on little cards that I cut down to fit inside her envelope. I think she will enjoy seeing this 15 years from now. Can you tell that the one in the middle is a rocking horse? I thought that was cute.

Thank you for visiting me today! I would love to share some extra goodies with you...all you need to do is become a follower of this blog and leave me a comment letting me know that you joined...I will choose a winner from the list of blog readers/followers on Tuesday. The RAK will include...Maya Road kraft envelopes, sweet little jingle bells, Maya Road sheers, holiday ribbon, mica flakes, glass glitter, Maya Road Pins, crepe and a few more vintage treasures.

Are you ready for some more holiday fun? Your next stop in the blog party is Lauri, click HERE to visit Lauri!!

Boo Crew

Here's a couple of spooky BoBunny treats for you. First up is an artisan shaped card...
That's crepe ruffled around the Jeepers Creepers sticker.
Next up is a very non-traditional card...

A matchbox style box that slides open to reveal some sweet goodies and a fun message.

The Bare Elements box comes white and I painted it with Maya Road Mist, it is a metallic-pewter color. I added a 7gypsies handle.

Here is the pull out card...under the candy...

I lined the box with more BoBunny Boo Crew...

Happy Haunting! Okay, I know it's not til the end of next month! I am already planning the costumes, last year Emma was a pirate (my choice, I found the cutest tights with black and white stripes and designed the costume all around them).

Swinter

Here it is, so far my most favorite Christmas release is this BoBunny Vintage Christmas. I just love the colors. I paired it with the amazing Maya Road, I used the new crystals, ribbon and mini snowflakes. The lace, banner and letters are also MR.
That little frame stamp is Pink Paislee. Of course that is Martha Stewart glitter! The jump rings are Tim Holtz. This little banner was made up with goodies from Yellow Bird and I will be leaving it there for display.

My trusty scor pal helped me make the medallions. That ribbon is luscious.

Please come back tomorrow to see what I made with my Freehand Scraps Kit, like I said before, I love this kit and really got a lot out of it.

The Purple Cows blog has a new project and it is fabulous...hint :snorkel + mini.....go see it HERE.
Pebbles Inc.
has a new post up, this week take a look at some monochromatic layouts from the team. I thought it was great, I never think like that.

Blogging the Bunny

BoBunny has this fun sketch over on their blog this week. I think it is perfect. I love simple sketches. I just flipped it to work with my photo.
I got the idea for this tree from Freehand Scraps. Heidi included one with the June kit-that sold out-so I had to make my own! Buying fabric is such an inexpensive way to embellish your projects, try it!

Charming paper is from the BoBunny Flirty line. The reddish pink that I used on the journal strips is the fabulous chalk from Pebbles Inc. Oh how I love it! At first I didn't think that I would use it, but now I use it on every other project!

Went to the bay today for some fun in the sun. Can you see the skyline in the background of this photo? Cool.

Glitter Girl

Love glitter, yes I do. Funny, when I taught kindergarten, I dreaded glitter. I would only drag it out on very special occasions. I do think I was the only teacher in the school that would even use it! It's messy and when the custodian only cruises in one or two times a week, you really think about what kind of a mess you want to clean up. Now that I am a scrapoholic (husband's label for me), I have to use glitter on a regular basis. I NEED it. I glittered up these Thickers to make em extra pretty and I used the same Martha Stewart crystal glitter on the outer edge of the Bobunny dots paper. I bought at least 2 sheets each of the dots paper in every color. Love it. Both pink papers are Bobunny as well. The sheer is Maya Road.

Unity Hip Hop Blog Hop

Each week Unity Stampers unite! They get together on Splitcoast Stampers and share creations and chat. There are always challenges and prizes to make it fun. Here's what I made with my new Unity stamps. The stamps from Unity have made me get back into stamping and I am loving it. I got rid of almost all my Close to My Heart stamps because I just wasn't using them anymore...now I am buying these! The spending never ever ends does it? Tomorrow the girls will be at grandma's and I will be scrapping all morning and afternoon with my bff. I hope she picks sushi for lunch, yum.

I am still scrapbooking...I made 4 mini albums in the last 8 or 9 days! One for Pebbles Inc., Freehand Scraps, Purple Cows and the fourth just for the love of minis!

This sweet paper is from BoBunny. Cute, huh?
