0 dark thirty? I grew up in California and I had one set of grandparents in Eastern Tennessee and another set in Taiwan. I didn't see either very often. In fact hardly at all. I am so happy for my daughters...they have my husband's parents a whole 2 miles away and my parents are a 5 hour drive up the coast. They get lots of grandparent time and everyone is happier for it.
No matter which set of grandparents they are spending time with, they still squeal in delight when a trip is announced whether it be down the street or north on the freeway.
This is Lily with my parents exploring the pier at Avila Beach. Sweet, sweet, sweet.
Today I am grateful for the love and wisdom that my parents and in laws share with my children.

I can so relate. I didnt grow up near my grandparents. I was lucky to see my grandma every few years.
But children had the joy of seeing their grandparents when ever they wanted. I too and grateful for that.

What a sweet reason to put together a layout! I didn't get to see my grandparents much either and so I am very determined to be a very present grandma, myself and it is so fun.
