I can't believe June is already here! Time for a brand new Freehand Scraps kit! Heidi, the owner of Freehand Scraps always amazes me with her lovely kits. I love the way she puts her papers and embellishments together. I love this box that arrives every month just waiting to be created with. Didn't realize these photos of this lay out were so inconsistent...sorry I will need to retake them! Well, first up is my favorite lay out that i made with the June kit. It is my mom and I, posing with my cake...36 years ago to the day! ( I am laughing at myself right now, I was debating whether or not I was going to type the 36 years or type 30+ years...did I want to reveal my age, but then I scrolled up and saw the photo...duh, the year 1974 is right there ...)

oh gosh and here it is again....the number 36 is on this next layout!! Ha ha.

There is a fabulous clear overlay in this kit, it has the flocked gray damask on it, I LOVED IT!

Printed this photo on textured cardstock.

I used an old Heidi Swapp mask for the birdie here and 2 shades of Maya mist. The pretty fabric is included in the kit and I made a couple of i Top brads and sewed on a ruffle for this lo.
