All Kinds of Crafty-ness

Raise your hand if you have one of these freebie canvas bags from a convention, store or school...
this bag is actually scrapbooking related, Elizabeth Kartchner was passing them out at CHA Winter while promoting her beautiful paper line Dear Lizzy. The hidden side has some cute graphics.

I decided to snazz mine up a bit. I took a few yards of my favorite May Arts ribbon ( did you know these stripes come in many different colors?). I ran a stitch through one side and tied it off every 24 inches or so until I had a giant ruffled ribbon. From there, I spiraled the ribbon on a piece of felt and glued it down with a ton of craft glue. I added some embroidery and then glued down my flower. Ta DA! I plan on using it for our library books.

Very cute! :) So... where did you get that striped ribbon? I have some from Stampin Up, but they have limited colors, and I'd love to have a variety to choose from. ;)
