Honeymooning with American Crafts and Pebbles Inc.

The Pebbles Inc and American Crafts product swap is still going strong over on the Pebbles blog...I have loved the cards and lay outs posted. Have you been leaving comments over there? It's not too late to leave a comment for each post this week. There will be a winner from each day's comments...winners get a prize pack of both American Crafts and Pebbles Inc. Just Do It!!!
This lay out just sort of came together. I started by cutting up all the summer words from the AC Heatwave paper. From there I played around with them on the background kraft. I wanted to frame the kraft and add a layer, so I attached the Pink Patterned paper from Pebbles "Twitterpated" and zigzagged stitched it. The banners were freehand cut from Pebbles paper "May Bouquet". I hope you are not sick of banners yet, I have many more to come...no joke, I have been stringing those babies on everything. I used Zap dots to pop them out. I sewed around the words to add a little more definition to the frame, plus it's fun to sew on paper and if I am going to get the sewing machine out...
This is one my most favorite photos from last summer, it seems to sum up the loving relationship between Emma and her beloved cousins.

Went to the San Diego Zoo on Tuesday with Emma's best friend Bella. We are lucky to live a mere 20 minutes from that wonderful place. Is it just my kid? As soon as we get somewhere...the park...zoo...wherever, she just wants to eat. And it's not like I am buying anything, it is the same boring stuff from home, just in a lunch box. Does this happen to you?

Cute layout.
Yes I prefer my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in a sandwich bag that has sat around for awhile. Reminds me of my youth.

What a great photo & l.o. No, it's not just your kid. At least yours waits until you're somewhere with food. My kids are somehow conditioned to ask for food whenever they get in the car.

Thanks for well wishes for my mom, Samantha. She's doing better. Although she dissed the pho I brought her. :P
