What Happens When You Cross Purple Cows with Fancy Pants!

Is it too much? Will her teacher know that I am an obsessed scrapbooker/former teacher?
Here is my little Back to School project for Emma. She is going to preschool for the first time.
Purple Cows has the coolest products. Here is my hot laminator. I used the 3x5 Hot Pockets.

The tags are a 12x12 journaling sheet from Fancy Pants. *On a Whimsy*

The laminator is fantastic. Oh how I wish I could have had one of these while I was teaching kindergarten. Would have saved me so much time and energy!

The laminator is quite compact, heats up in a few minutes and stores nicely in the back of my cupboard.

I trimmed the edges with my scalloped shears.

Sewed a button to the cover. Added some Maya Road trinkets, I really needed to some pink! I have to say, at first glance I would not know what to do with those trinkets, but now I am all over them!

That's it , a little backpack tag book for my sweetie. I can't wait to show her this, she is the most appreciative fan of my scrapbooking antics. Think she'll let me do this when she is 15?
Look at this baby girl, all we are doing is going to the post office, library and the craft store. She decided that it was necessary to bring her ball, sunglasses, bracelet, 2 necklaces, tote bag full of goodies and a binky.
