Recycled Bits

Didn't think I would make anything for either of these challenges-just wasn't feeling it. I didn't give up! I repurposed some bits for this one, the acetate flower is from A Heidi Swapp package of gems-I cut it with my cuttlebug and embossed it with a snowflake folder( I only have 4 embossing folders-so snowflakes it is). I stitched around it so that it would show up better. The white eyelet cardstock is from some Fancy Pants packaging9last photo), it came off a huge pack of felt shapes- which are on sale at Yellow Bird for only $6.00! CPS challenge is a sketch and The Cuttle bug challenge is to use acetate.

Paper is from Kand Co
By the the way, RUN don't walk to Michaels...today I bought Valentine's gems for only 30 cents per pack! Yep, The Valentine stuff is 70% off . The bling is a pack of clear, red and pink bling.

I hope you see this post. I read that you only had 4 embossing folders and wanted to let you know about another blog that is awesome. She has a tutorial on her blog about how to make your own folders out of cereal boxes!!! It's melstampz.blogspot.com I think. If you can't find it let me know!!!
