My Lil' Miss

My first assignment for Pebbles Inc. We were asked to make something with either the Lil Miss or Lil Buddy paper and I thought I was just making a little wall hanging, but it turned into this mini album! I love the colors and graphics in this line. This project is posted on the Pebbles Inc. blog along with several other that the talented design team created...please hop over and check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I scored the box pleats around the butterfly with my new Scor pal .Love that tool, if you are going to buy one be sure to email me for the website I used, I got it CHEAP!

I had to ask my husband when Lily's birthday is. I couldn't remember the date, I knew the month!! Look, she has had only one birthday! But I will remember now, the 26th! Didn't know her height and weight either, will have to look those up later.

I made a new mini for Emma too, pictures from the NICU. I will post that album later in the week, I think I need to edit the photos still.

Glitter Girl

Love glitter, yes I do. Funny, when I taught kindergarten, I dreaded glitter. I would only drag it out on very special occasions. I do think I was the only teacher in the school that would even use it! It's messy and when the custodian only cruises in one or two times a week, you really think about what kind of a mess you want to clean up. Now that I am a scrapoholic (husband's label for me), I have to use glitter on a regular basis. I NEED it. I glittered up these Thickers to make em extra pretty and I used the same Martha Stewart crystal glitter on the outer edge of the Bobunny dots paper. I bought at least 2 sheets each of the dots paper in every color. Love it. Both pink papers are Bobunny as well. The sheer is Maya Road.

Happy 100th Post Day

Imaginesce is one of our partners over at Purple Cows. We really appreciate the goodies they sent us, so I made this little card to send as a thank you.

These are all I can find from my honeymoon 9 years ago-I thought the paper would be a nice match. My daughter asked "why is your skin brown?" Speaking of daughter...Cleaning up a purple Elmer's gluestick off the tile floor and a baby's face and fingers is not too awful.

A trip to Spain~B.K. (Before Kids)

Happy 100th Post Day to me! To celebrate, I am leaving in just a few minutes to shop at Yellowbird!! I need to buy a few more sheets of that pretty paper Lemonade from BasicGrey. I also need some Maya Road chipboard letters.
My new friend Lexi has some sneaks of the August Freehand Scraps Kit up on her blog...check it out. If you haven't seen Heidi's sneaks, you can check them out here.
Over at Pebbles Inc. the DT has submitted their first projects. We worked with the papers from Lil Buddy and Lil Miss. I made a butterfly mini album that they will show sometime this week. Be sure to hop on over to the Pebbles Inc. blog and check out the amazing work.

Last Sneak

Just a few more days until Heidi reveals the full August kit over at Freehand Scraps! Here are a few more peeks at what I have been working on.
Kits are really the best way for me to enjoy cropping with a friend. I love the ease of just grabbing my kit and some tools and knowing that I will be able to put together 5-6 or 7 layouts and some quick cards. Can't wait to show you more!!

Unity Hip Hop Blog Hop

Each week Unity Stampers unite! They get together on Splitcoast Stampers and share creations and chat. There are always challenges and prizes to make it fun. Here's what I made with my new Unity stamps. The stamps from Unity have made me get back into stamping and I am loving it. I got rid of almost all my Close to My Heart stamps because I just wasn't using them anymore...now I am buying these! The spending never ever ends does it? Tomorrow the girls will be at grandma's and I will be scrapping all morning and afternoon with my bff. I hope she picks sushi for lunch, yum.

I am still scrapbooking...I made 4 mini albums in the last 8 or 9 days! One for Pebbles Inc., Freehand Scraps, Purple Cows and the fourth just for the love of minis!

This sweet paper is from BoBunny. Cute, huh?

Alpha Addict

What kind of a scrap addict are you? My fellow dt Lexi at Freehand Scraps is crazy about these.
So, she got me thinking about the stuff that I love and sitting in a basket right in front of me were these lovely alphas...
Come on, come clean, what do you have a ton of? Can't wait to see what you admit!

My Very First Freehand Scraps Sneaks!

It's sneaks time over at Freehand Scraps. I've had my August kit for over a week and I have put together 6 projects to share on the Freehand Scraps gallery. Well, I guess it could be just 5 projects, depends if you count a double layout as one or two. Plenty of paper and goodies in this pretty kit and I will probably make one more layout on Friday. I am the kind of girl that likes to use up the entire kit...'til there is really nothing left but a few strips of paper that could maybe survive a pass through a Martha Stewart punch. Heidi has posted a sneak on her blog HERE .

Pasture News...over on the Purple Cows blog there are a couple of new posts for you to check out. First, a laundry room make over with the fun I Cubes. Okay, I do not know who made the mess...but the I cubes transformed the place. There is also a creative invite that is fun for summer parties.
